MAN OR WOMAN’S BEST FRIENDJarah_02_266_FF_webWe all love our doggies so much and Jarah Mariano is no exception.  Her little chihuahua Slayer is her constant companion—and here she takes her sweet dog to the lakeside.  Of course, she looks gorgeous in her swimsuit by Eberjey.  Photograph by Justin Marquis.

BACK TO MY HOMETOWN photo_20141023_0001One of my favorite shoots was a Hollywood story with photographer Steve Erle, make-up artist Steven Aturo, and hairdresser Ted Gibson.  Here, Steven is touching up beach goddess Anne V.malaysia_20141023_0003Pink’s is a Hollywood destination where there’s always a line of people around the block waiting for their hot dogs.  We did photos at Pink’s where Steven and beautiful Yesica Toscanini strike a pose.photo_20141027_0001The amazing hairdresser Ted Gibson takes a break with Yesica Toscanini at the Hollywood W Hotel.IMG_1294I had a lovely déjeuner recently with make-up artist Steven Aturo at Fred’s, the ladies-who-lunch restaurant located at Barney’s in New York City.  It was so great to catch up and hear all about Steven’s fabulous East and West Coast jobs, where he always makes women look gorgeous.

. . . IN A VINTAGE BROCADE SWIM TOPJarah_10_115_FF_webIf there was a formal dress code for swimwear, this lovely brocade top by designer Cynthia Rose would be perfect.   Beautiful Jarah Mariano doesn’t need to swim laps in her glamorous swim bikini top…or even get wet.  Photograph by Justin Marquis.

THE PRINT IS SO PRETTYJarah_06_203_FF_web. . .that it has matching pillows.  The Italian-influenced print makes a sensational bikini worn by beauty Jarah Mariano.  She’s taking a lake break—with coordinating pillows, of course.  Hair by Mary Ott.  Make-up by Jessica Crafts.  Photograph by Justin Marquis.IMG_1100And how chic to have pillows that match your swimsuit!

CATCHING UP WITH THE BRILLIANT PHOTOGRAPHERIMG_1255Tunisia, Turkey, Argentina, Thailand, Portugal, Tahiti, Maui, the Adirondacks…and, oh yes, Apalachicola, Florida, are some of the fabulous locales I was fortunate enough to travel and shoot with the fantastic Stewart Shining for the Swimsuit issue of Sports Illustrated.  He always made our gorgeous girls more gorgeous and his photographs are timeless and beautiful.  We had a lovely lunch at The Lambs Club in mid-town Manhattan while the Columbus Day parade marched down Fifth Avenue.  I  always learn so much from Stewart and am dazzled by his talent.IMG_1257A perfect place for lunch in mid-town Manhattan is The Lambs Club.IMG_1276The closest way to feel like a starlet from old Hollywood (in mid-town Manhattan) is lunch at The Lambs Club…is that Carole Lombard in that corner booth?

A GREAT DAY ON LONG ISLANDIMG_1244Watch for gorgeous photos that we shot in Greenport, L.I. last week with spectacular newcomer Kim Riekenberg, photographed by Ernesto Gonzalez.IMG_1247A surprising location that we stumbled upon was the charming Silver Sands Motel.  It is directly on the beach and the owner makes it one of the most comfortable places to stay on the North Fork.

THINK REDJarah_03_070_FF_webThe silver screen contract girls knew how to look glamorous. . .Jarah Mariano is a modern glamour girl with classic style in this star quality suit from Karla Colletto, stealing the scene in the boathouse.  Hair by Mary Ott.
