ONE OF THE SPLENDORS OF ISRAELOne of the most wonderful trips I had the pleasure of experiencing for Swimsuit was the voyage to Israel…and one of the most beautiful sites in this country is the incredible Bahá’í Gardens of Haifa. The precisely manicured gardens consist of 19 Terraces that extend all the way to the northern slope of Mount Carmel. It was truly a wonder to stand at the top of these absolutely perfect gardens. The top of the stairs of these amazing gardens is where you can see the entire vista. It was truly inspiring and I couldn’t wait to get back to the states to start planting!

It is directly on the beach and the owner makes it one of the most comfortable places to stay on the North Fork.

A PARADISE FOR A GREAT ESCAPEOne of the greatest resorts to get away from it all is Caneel Bay in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The beaches are pristine and the water is so clear you can see your feet at the bottom of the ocean. No phones or televisions make it truly a retreat from the world. TAKE YOUR CANDLE EN VOYAGEWhen in Rome…or Paris…or Lisbon, having your own candle in your hotel room brings a personal touch to travel. We found this one from Further, which actually uses repurposed gourmet vegetable oil to create a divine candle. How clever to have Mario Batali recycle oil from his Los Angeles restaurant, Pizzeria Mozza for this wonderful candle.
